Dave:
See if you can run sigverif.exe on ur machine. Start >> search.
iTouch:
There is 1 unsigned
Dave:
Oh, which one ?
iTouch:
mcdbus.sys in C:\windows\system32\drivers
Dave:
It looks like the same in this topic. http://www.techsupportforum.com/hardware-support/motherboards-bios-cpu/236557-solved-computer-crash-stop-message.html
You got Magic ISO ?
iTouch:
Not anymore
I have Magic Disk which is by the same company.
Dave:
I THINK your problem driver is associated but not 100% yet.
Confirmed.......I think. http://www.geekpolice.net/software-f6/mcdbussys-problem-solved-t16466.htm
Dave:
Now we just need to know how to get rid of mcdbus.sys. You can start by uninstalling Magic Disk.
iTouch:
I will do
How will I know if a program is ok in the future in terms on BSOD's
iTouch:
Shall I just delete mcdbus.sys from the drivers
Dave:
No, just uninstall Magic Disk first. Then reboot and run sigverif.exe..............U need to make sure its driver is signed by microsoft.
iTouch:
I remember when installing is said not all drivers are signed and asked me if i want to continue installing or not.
iTouch:
mcdbus.sys has now gone from the drivers, mcd.sys is there
Dave:
mcd.sys unsigned ?
iTouch:
ill just check
iTouch:
sigverif.exe didnt find any unsigned
iTouch:
I just thought, when I got the BSOD from opening computer and disk management its becuase magicdisk would start, So it shows on both.
